Like so many U.S. Presidents, Joe Biden is trying his hand at brokering Middle East peace, focusing on Saudi Arabia within what appears to be a remarkably complex negotiation touching on many regional topics.
Among them containing Iran, normalizing relations with Israel, and addressing the Kingdom’s own nuclear ambitions.
The complexity of the issues suggests these negotiations will twist and turn. The outcome is unknowable and likely modest at best.
