Mohannad Al-Suwaidan
HEAD OF NGLs, MIDDLE EAST LEAD
Mohannad Al-Suwaidan joined ESAI Energy in 2020 as an analyst for the Middle East and Africa. His work tracks major regional geopolitical developments, crude oil production and OPEC+, and refining and products analysis.
In addition to his work in the Middle East, Mohannad heads the global NGLs analysis. He coordinates with regional analysts to build a global forecast integrated into a monthly dataset and publication. His work also tracks global trends in NGL supply in refining, fractionation, and demand by sector and region.
Mohannad also coordinates the global green hydrogen analysis for the long-term outlook. He serves as editor of ESAI's Geopolitics Weekly report, where energy market analysis is given a deeper political context.
Mohannad holds a master's degree in economics from Boston University, a master's degree, and a Ph.D. in international relations from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. He speaks native Arabic.
